URGENT: Storm and Flood Response Notice in Hanoi and Northern Provinces of Vietnam
Dear VietED Network Members!
The Flood situation continues to occur in Hanoi and the Northern Provinces after the recent Storm No. 3-Yagi. Tuyet understands that each of us has been following these complicated developments in the area where we live as well as the area where VietED activities are being implemented. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the VietED Network and myself, I would like to send to all of you some Notices as follows:
- Prioritize protecting yourself and your family: You all have the right to do this and minimize going out of your home/safe place. Do not go to work at this time (except in cases of force majeure and need to notify your direct manager), and apply online working.
- Focus all efforts on monitoring the developments of the Flood situation to ensure the evacuation of your residence and assets to a safe place with the guidance of local authorities and handle any emergency situations that arise.
- Stay calm in all situations and notify relevant people immediately if any emergency occurs.
- Directors and Department Heads of each unit: Fund/VietED-MFI; VietED Center; VietED Group-VietHarvest proactively implement Rapid Response “Teams/Working Groups” to support and update information of during and after the storm, flood in their Units/Departments. The focal points ensure to keep in touch with each other to promptly support their staff, partners and customers when necessary. I always believe that, during this time, we will have many INNOVATION and NEW IDEAS that will be promoted and applied later.
